Arrival and Parking Information

Rowan University is located in the southern New Jersey town of Glassboro, 18 miles southeast of Philadelphia. The campus is easily reached from the N.J. Turnpike, the Atlantic City Expressway, or any of the Delaware River Bridges.

 

The Welcome Gate is located at 1 Memorial Circle, Glassboro, NJ 08028. All conference attendees will enter the Welcome Gate (red star on map) from Rt.322. No guards are present on the weekends and the gate will be open. All visitors (i.e. conference attendees) will continue towards the Townhouse Garage (purple star on map); the route from the welcome gate to the garage is indicated by a black line on the map. Conference attendees should park on the 3rd level of the garage.

 

The conference will be held in the Chamberlain Student Center (blue star on map, also building is highlighted in yellow). Signs will direct attendees to the venue inside.

Podium Presenter Information

Please check in with one of the committee members at the registration table or at the podium at least 20 minutes before the start of the first session. We will load your presentation, as well as confirm name pronunciation and presentation title. Please bring your presentation on a flashdrive. Additionally, it would ideal if you also have your presentation saved on Google Drive or Dropbox, as back-up. As a reminder, podium presentations are 15 minutes in length. Each session will also have a short Q and A.

Poster Presenter Information

Poster presenters should bring their poster for display on the day of the conference. Conference organizers will provide further instruction for display. Poster presenters will have the opportunity to give a short, three minute oral summary of their posters for the general audience at the beginning of the poster presentation session.
