BNRD
Bioarchaeologists' Northeast Regional Dialogue
We are a community of bioarchaeologists who work together to create a dialog on current research in the field of bioarchaeology and related fields of forensics, dental anthropology, paleoanthropology, and primatology. We are committed to sharing information among our members to help advance the field theoretically and methodologically.
The Bioarchaeologists' Northeast Regional Dialogue (BNRD) community was formed in 2011 by graduate students from University at Albany–SUNY, Sarah Ledogar and Dr. Jordan Karsten (UW Oshkosh), and Syracuse University, Lauren Hosek and Dr. Meredith Ellis (FAU). The BNRD conference was started to create a smaller, regional, affordable alternative to national and international conferences for biological anthropologists. The conference is annual and open to all interested in attending - faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, and any interested members of the community. Abstracts from the proceedings are published online. For more information on previous conferences, please see the pages above.
